In 1999 I formalised a lifelong interest in Interior Design, completing my design studies with The Open Polytechnic of NZ. From this point I undertook independent interior design projects and extended my industry knowledge managing a Queenstown furniture store. In 2006 I accepted Jean and Stephens offer to join Foster and Burke Design. I enjoy all aspects of interior design, but my real passion lies in the co-ordination and harmony of combining colour and texture. Some of my recent projects include new chalets at Milford Lodge, Te Anau Airport and a Queenstown restaurant.

I moved to Queenstown in 1995 and over a 2 year period worked as a freelance interior designer. In 1997 I purchased an established interior design practice ‘Total Interiors’ and went on to grow the business undertaking projects in both Queenstown and Christchurch. In 2003 I went into partnership with Stephen and the business became Foster and Burke Design. I specialise in high end residential work with an emphasis on character and comfort. I enjoy overseeing every aspect of an interior in order to achieve total harmony. I hold a diploma in Interior Design from the ‘Sheffield School of Design’.

My business background includes 10 years in General Insurance, followed by Visual Arts, encompassing Sales / Marketing and Management. I began work as an Interior Designer when I moved to Queenstown in 2001, working for Jean Foster of Total Interiors. In 2003 Jean and I formed Queenstown based Foster and Burke Design, and in 2006 I relocated to Sydney, making Foster and Burke a trans-tasman entity. My recent projects have included office interiors in the Sydney CBD, Adelaide and Brisbane. I commute regularly between New Zealand and Australia as dictated by our current projects.
